Feeling frazzled, and overcommitted?

I'm sharing stories about some of my client's experiences and often change names to maintain confidentiality.

Today I'm talking about "Tabitha," who came to me frazzled and in tears, overwhelmed and over-committed.

She works full-time, builds her own business "on the side," volunteers, spends much of her free time caring for her nephews and helping her family, and is dating.

Tabitha struggles with prioritizing her time, avoiding burnout, and feeling inadequate and anxious when she doesn't accomplish her daily goals.

Without good time management habits, Tabitha sometimes finds herself in a cycle where she stops working towards her goals and making progress, intensifying the problem.

Tabitha and I met weekly to set goals for her life and work.

We determined what actions she needed to take that would improve her quality of life and focus on those when setting priorities.

We keep her list focused and realistic. Then we block time on her calendar to do everything while setting aside downtime for self-care to help her avoid burnout and long periods of inactivity.

We also strategize ways for Tabitha to get unstuck when she gets off track between our sessions.

When you're a high-achiever like, Tabitha, there's always something to do. What's key is figuring out the best use of your time and energy and holding yourself accountable to your top priorities.

It's not always easy, and sometimes priorities change. That's why Tabitha and I continue to meet biweekly now that she is on track, to ensure she feels calm, in control, accomplished, and supported.

Feel free to reach out for help with priority setting and time management to improve your (work) life quality. I have several openings for weekly or biweekly retainer coaching packages and would love to help you!
